REFUND POLICY

  • Booking Refund Policy Agreement

    Effective Date: [01/01/2025]

     

    This Booking Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted by SA TRAVEL PLAKA (“Agency”) for travel bookings made by clients (“Customer”).

    1. General Policy

    All bookings are subject to the refund terms outlined in this policy. By booking a service through SA TRAVEL PLAKA, you agree to this policy.

     

    2. Refund Eligibility

     

    Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

    • Cancellation by the service provider (e.g., airline, hotel, tour operator)

    • Cancellation by the Customer within the first 24 hours of making a payment to SA TRAVEL PLAKA

    • Errors or duplicate bookings caused by the Agency

    Anything beyond the above circumstances will be solely dependant on the service provider cancellation policy (e.g., airline, hotel, tour operator). 

     

    3. Cancellation Deadlines

     

    • Flights, activities & hotels : Refunds depend on the airline’s, activities & hotels  policy. Some tickets & bookings may be non-refundable.

    • Travel Packages: 100% refund if cancelled 24hours . No refund if cancelled after 24hours, however depending on a service provider, a portion of deposited funds might be refunded. 

     

    4. Non-Refundable Items

    • Service fees charged by the Agency

    • Non-refundable tickets or reservations clearly stated at the time of booking

    • Travel insurance premiums incases the agency booked flights for you. 

     

    5. Refund Process

    • Requests must be submitted in writing to booking@satravelplaka.com

    • Processing time: 7–14 business days after approval. 

    • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed

     

    6. Force Majeure

    The Agency is not liable for cancellations due to unforeseen events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions). Refunds in such cases will depend on the provider’s terms.

    7. Modifications

    The Agency reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Updated policies will be posted on the Agency’s official website.
